This year students will: learn word patterns and other spelling strategies in our spelling textbook Spell words correctly including grade-level appropriate sight and high frequency words Monday - Pretest (Regular List only) Friday - Test (Regular List or Challenge List) If they get 0-1 wrong on the pretest, they receive the Challenge List of words to study during the week and they will take the Challenge test on Friday.  They have already received an “A” on the test, so the Challenge list is an extension of learning I want them to try.
